Face Masks in Primary Care Settings
in Scotland from April 18th 2022
While the rules regarding the wearing of face masks in public areas, shops, transport etc have been relaxed in Scotland from 18th April 2022, the Scottish Government has instructed that face masks / coverings will remain recommended in health care settings including GP Practices and hospitals until further notice.
The latest guidelines may be found below.
Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance on the extended use of face masks and face coverings in hospitals, primary care and wider community care - gov.scot - Scottish Government
A supply of face masks is available within the Health Centre for use by patients who may now, understandably, not be carrying one with them since the National rules were relaxed.
Thank you for your co-operation.
